ENGLISH OBITUARY AFTER THE FRENCH


Arthur Lavoie passed away at la Maison Catherine de Longpré in St-Georges, Quebec, on Thursday February 9th 2023 in his 90th year. He was the son of late Louis Lavoie and late Alpheda Tremblay. He lived in St-Georges, Quebec.

Family and friends will greet you at the Résidence Funéraire-Saguenay, 3711, rue Cabot, Jonquière (Qc, Ca), on Saturday May 13th at 11:30 am.

The ceremony will be held on the same day at the Sainte-Famille Church at 2 pm and the burial will later take place at the Shipshaw cemetery.

He was the beloved husband of Lucette Boucher, loving father of Sandra (Daniel Lavoie) and Martin and dear grandfather of Marc-Olivier and Anne-Julie.

He was the brother of : Louis-Georges (deceased) deceased) (Fernande Fortin (deceased)), Joseph (deceased) (Rachel Rousseau (deceased)), Louisianna (deceased) (Louis-Joseph Savard (deceased)), Auréat (deceased) (Isaïe Gagnon (deceased)), Armand (deceased) (Noëlla Martel (deceased)), Yvonne (deceased) (Raoul Jean (deceased)), Desneiges (deceased) (Lloyd Dakin (deceased)), Roland (deceased) (Solange Villeneuve), Rita (deceased) (Peter Cannel (deceased)), Rose-Alice (deceased) (Roger Deschênes (deceased)), Clément (deceased) (Lucille Grenon), Henri (deceased) (Rose-Alice Bradet) and Richard (deceased) (May Potvin (deceased)).

He was the brother-in-law of : Georges (deceased) (Micheline Blackburn (deceased)), Angelo (deceased) (Thérèse Gaudreault (deceased)), Vilmond (deceased) (Gisèle Gauthier (deceased)), Étienne (deceased) (Yvette Bourgeois (deceased)), Yvon (Danielle Boily) and Céline (Jacques Couture (deceased)).¸

He will also be missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
