Patrice Mercier

THE ENGLISH OBITUARY AFTER THE FRENCH

C'est avec regret que nous annonçons le décès de monsieur Patrice Mercier, survenu à sa résidence le vendredi 26 février 2021, à l'âge de 74 ans et 3 mois. Il était le fils de feu Louida Mercier et de feu Rose-Alma Veilleux.

Il demeurait à Saint-Côme-Linière. Patrice était un homme empreint de compassion et nous laisse de nombreux souvenir heureux. Il était une source d'inspiration et aimait rire, travailler et par dessus tout, sa famille.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa soeur Joline Mercier;

sa fille Jacqueline Mercier Robinson (Loren David Robinson);

ses petits-enfants: Brittney Elizabeth Schmehl, Heather Patricia Robinson and Zackrey David Robinson;

ses arrière-petits-enfants : Brylee et Gracie Yingling, Alayna Michelle Robinson, Rosalee Schmehl et un garçon à venir

ainsi que ses belles-petites-filles : Makinslee and Mallory Schmehl.

Il laisse également dans le deuil les membres de la famille Mercier ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et de nombreux ami(e)s.

Le service religieux a été célébré intimement (maximum 25 personnes sur invitation seulement) le vendredi 12 mars 2021 à 11h en l'église de Saint-Georges et de là au cimetière l'Assomption sous la direction de La maison Roy & Giguère Inc., 2550, 1re Avenue à Saint-Georges.

It is with great sorrow to announce the death of Patrice Mercier on February 26, 2021 at the age of 74 on his estate in Saint-Côme-Linière, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Louida Mercier and Rose-Alma Veilleux.

Patrice leaves a legacy of compassion and memories of joy. He made an impression on every person with laughter and inspiration. He loved to work and mostly loved his family.

Patrice is survived by family to include his sister Joline Mercier; his daughter and son in law: Jacqueline Robinson and Loren David Robinson, his grandchildren: Brittney Schmehl, Heather Robinson, Zackrey Robinson; his great grandchildren: Brylee and Gracie Yingling, Alayna Robinson, Rosalee Schmehl and baby boy to come, Cayden Schmehl and his step grandchildren: Makinslee and Mallory Schmehl.

Patrice will also be dearly missed by members of the Mercier family and surviving sisters, daughter, cousins, nephew and friends.

The ceremony was held in private (maximum of 25 people on invitation) on Friday, March 12th at 11 a.m. in the Saint-Georges Church in Quebec. He will later be buried at the Assomption cemetery.
