ENGLISH OBITUARY AFTER THE FRENCH

C'est avec beaucoup de peine que nous vous annonçons le décès de notre frère bien-aimé monsieur Louison Rodrigue.

Il est décédé au Hartford Hospital du Connecticut aux États-Unis, le samedi 13 mars 2021 à l'âge de 58 ans, après un long combat de 4 ans contre le cancer.

Natif de Saint-Georges, il était le fils de feu Hervé Rodrigue et de feu Thérèse Bolduc. Reconnu pour être un grand travaillant, il a tenu bon même après de nombreux traitements de chimiothérapie et de radiothérapie.

Il laisse pour le pleurer son fils Alec;

son frère Roger (Rollande Boutin);

ses soeurs Monique, Diane (Germain Chauvette) et Nicole (Jacques Racine);

sa belle-soeur Louise Pouliot

ainsi que ses neveux et nièces : Manon et Anne-Marie Rodrigue, Michel, Sylvie, Daniel et Pascal Thompson.

Il laisse dans le deuil la mère de son fils Michèle Ouellet, son fidèle compagnon Marley ainsi que plusieurs oncles, tantes, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.

Une liturgie de la parole a été célébrée à la chapelle du Parc commémoratif Chaudière-Appalaches le samedi 17 juillet 2021 à 16h et de là au cimetière de St-Georges sous la direction de La maison Roy & Giguère Inc.

Nous désirons remercier chaleureusement ses amis Cindy Fischer et Alain Veilleux pour leur soutien.

It's with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Louison Rodrigue.

After a long 4 year battle against cancer, at the Connecticut Hartford Hospital in the US, he passed away on Saturday March 13th 2021 at the age of 58.

Born in Saint-Georges, Quebec in Canada, he was the son of predeceased Hervé Rodrigue and Thérèse Bolduc.

He was a hardworking man who even after numerous cancer treatments, still showed courage and strength.

He leaves his family to mourn him starting with: his son Alec, his brother Roger (Rollande Boutin), his sisters: Monique, Diane (Germain Chauvette) and Nicole (Jacques Racine), his sister in law Louise Pouliot and his nephews and nieces: Manon and Anne-Marie-Rodrigue, Michel, Sylvie, Daniel and Pascal Thompson.

He will also be missed by the mother of his son Michèle Ouellet, his faithful dog Marley and by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

The ceremony was held at the Parc commémoratif Chaudière-Appalaches on Saturday July 17th at 4:00 pm followed by the burial at the Saint-Georges cemetery.
